I am very sorry to inform you of the sad news that Jim Parry passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of this morning. As many of you know Jim had been battling cancer for some time.
We send our condolences to Jim's wife Liz, his family and all his many friends and colleagues.

NC3Rs workshop: Cell transformation assays

The NC3Rs is holding a workshop in central London(9th November 2010) to discuss the latest advances in research on cell transformation assays for assessment of the carcinogenic potential of chemicals. The workshop, which is being held the day before the UKEMS Industrial Genotoxicology Group (IGG) meeting (also in central London), is free to attend and is open to all scientists working in toxicology, carcinogenicity and related fields.
